About the Founder

Late. Bapalal M. Parikh was a leading personality of Vadodara Visa Nagar Vanik Gnayati. He was born from a middle class family, however, he gave his children best education. He was dutiful as a Chief Accountant at Gaekwad Regime of Vadodara and afterwards served as an Auditor in Vadodara Municipal Corporation.

Throughout his carrier, he served various Government Departments and Corporates till he was 85 years. He was out-spoken and always ready to help others. He lived a simple, straightforward, highly disciplined, long life of about 100 years.

In memory of B.M Parikh, his family members particularly Late Dr. Chandrakant Parikh one of his four sons had conceived the idea of making available health care service for a charitable cause to middle and lower middle income group public in and around four wall city. Dr. Devendra Parikh joined hands with brother for this kind caused and became a founder trustee of B M Parikh Foundation Trust.

The hospital was Inaugurated by Dr. Thakorbhai Patel and Shri Nanalal Chokshi in April 1994 at Shamal Bechar’s Pole, M.G Road, Vadodara.

Soon after the establishment of Hospital, due to sad demise of Dr. Chandrakant Parikh - Settler and Founder Trustee of B.M Parikh Foundation Trust, youngest Son of B M Parikh CA. Dilip Parikh, Managing Trustee of the hospital, shouldered the responsibility of managing the Hospital, financially and administratively. During peak years of his professional carrier, it was a challenging task for him. However, with the firm determination, Grace of God, and blessing of his parents, he accepted the challenge. After initial teething period and learning experience enabled him to overcome the challenge.
